Wild Morning Glory Swimmers

These morning glory flowers are so common that they are considered a nuisance and weed. When pressed, they look like they're swimming. This is one of the pressed series of images. I've created a process which reveals a different perspective on the subject. Pressing has the effect of compressing the different aspects of the flower into a totally new composition. The original morphs into a new form.
